Brianna Flowers graduated with her B.S. in Criminology with a minor in German from FSU in Spring 2014. Three months later, she participated in the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) where she lived, worked and studied in Radolfzell am Bodensee and Mainz, Germany, for one year. Brianna is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in German at FSU. She is also an active fighter against human trafficking and has done some work with the Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center (STAC) in Tallahassee, Florida. She hopes to continue to bring awareness to this issue nationally, as well as internationally. Brianna is an avid jazz drummer and loves to travel.

Ryan Rogers.jpg

Ryan Rogers graduated from FSU with his Bachelor of Arts in German in 2018. He returned to FSU in Fall of 2018 to resume his studies toward a Master’s of Arts in German.

In his free time, he enjoys musical theatre, playing piano, and playing with his dog and cat.

Wilson Xu.jpg

Wilson Xu received his B.A. in German and International Affairs from FSU and is currently working on his Master’s degree in German Studies. During his undergraduate career, he studied abroad at the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg in 2015. This experience exposed him to European Law from a European perspective which led him to be interested in their approach to internet policy making. Outside of his academic studies, Wilson enjoys cycling, skating, fishing, and archery.

Melina Zohn, a native from Vero Beach, FL, graduated from FSU with Bachelor's degrees in General Music and German. She is currently earning her Master's degree in German Studies and continues to play piano and perform when she can.

Maxfield Maslanka.jpg

Maxfield Maslanka graduated with a B.S. in International Affairs with double majors, Political Science and German, in the Spring of 2018. He returned to FSU in the Fall of 2019 to continue with a Master’s degree in German. His academic interests include linguistics, history, and religion. In his free time, Max enjoys being an amateur historian focusing on the Roman Empire, is an active participant and assistant in the Cuong Nhu Martial Arts club, and enjoys video games.
